  • Director of the Arts

    Julia serves the DACC as the Director of the Arts. Julia holds a BFA in Textile Arts from the Tyler School of Art and a Masters in Fashion Design from Drexel University. She has worked in Fashion Design, Product Design, and Graphic Design. In 2019 she started The Knack art business in downtown Danville. In September 2022 the DACC purchased the Knack and Julia began her work as The Director of the Arts at the DACC. You can reach Julia at jedick@danvilleacc.org.

  • Mark Lawrence Giesen joins us as Director of Community Engagement after 30+ years of radio at WKOK/94KX, and now at WPGM. He is a recognized community leader who will help the DACC with external relations, fundraising, outreach/PR, and helping to retain and attract to members to the DACC.

    Billie wears so many hats, we almost can’t count them (but we truly appreciate each one of them!!) as our community center assistant director - she is the guru of spreadsheets when it comes to tracking our memberships, coordinating our annual 5k and Team CJ Triathlon events - she is a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer and so much more!

    Heather Laubach joined the DACC staff in 2018. Arriving at the DACC with twenty years in corporate wellness experience and a passion for volunteering, she wanted a non-profit setting to help make a difference in supporting community programs for those in her hometown and surrounding areas.   • Aquatics Director

    Becky Perruquet has been an employee at the DACC since 1990. She served as Preschool Director, Director of Children’s Programming, and currently serves as Aquatics Director. Becky was an elementary teacher, principal at the elementary and middle school levels, and now serves as the Community School Coordinator for the Warrior Run School District. Becky has 5 children who were all raised in the Danville community. She has a passion for aquatics and the lifetime fitness opportunities aquatics provides for all ages.
